(Er... didn't *all* the banks in Iceland teeter on the edge of immediate collapse, and result in the largest - per capita - government bailout in the world? And crash the currency? And cause then to freeze foreign withdrawals? And spike unemployment? And bring down the government? And force Iceland into voting soon to join the Euro zone?)

While the financial system is very important, the banks being ok, is not the same as the economy being ok. Also many banks are not so OK right now. And I never speaking out against the massive bailout and stimulus bills is not calling for no government involvement.
