Tom D: I'll buy 40% growth at 10-15x future 12 mo. earnings all day - no matter what the overall general market does. I'm an investor in a Company, not a trader in the make believe. If the stock price doesn't go up, so what, next year I'll be buying 40% growth at 7-11x future 12 mo. earnings. And on and on. At some point the Company starts to kick out a dividend to me because they have so much cash sitting around that they don't know what to do with it all. That begins to grow nicely as well. All I really need to know is that the Company has great profits with extraordinary growth - like CYMI does - and I don't care about street "shakeouts". The fact of the matter is that a great amount of the short interest is professional or market maker driven against inventories and these guys are not gonna get squeezed. They are gonna have to pay up big time after they wash out their shorts and they need to reload inventories to trade. There is also the Fluckenfly from Barrons shorts that can be squeezed pretty severely. Bottom line is don't depend on inventory trading levels just watch earnings grow - buy into continuing earnings growth like we have with CYMI - and everything else will take care of itself.
