Wow. Can this be the dawning of a new era? Has Valence finally done it? FMK, your posts have been extremely informative and rewarding for those strong enough to hold on. When I got out of VLNC a couple months back at $8, (after buying from $6 to $9), I just couldn't stand myself. Everyday I'd check out VLNC and know that I would miss the boat. Well, that anxiety got the best of me and I bought back in several weeks ago between $9 and $8 (should'a picked up a gob at $6, but couldn't get through to my damn broker on Monday). Now, I can sleep at night.

Today's market looks to open lower, yet again, on the Far Eastern and European market declines of 3 - 4%. Probably not by much, but it could be our "last chance" to collect a few more shares at these levels. Remember, as I know you do, that the last time VLNC had a production agreement with MOT and HWP that their share price was $26! THis is a next generation, story stock to put away for awhile. And, most importantly, everyone needs to resist the urge to sell too early. Yes, you can't knock making profits in the market. But you can knock having to pay taxes and losing out on the long term move.

Good luck to all......

Fred, thanks for your remarks. I do feel that my recent optimistic commentary, which some may classify as a lot of hype (and that's OK too), has a solid foundation:

1. The technology is proven. Lab samples have met or exceeded specifications for at least a year or more.

2. Although the company has not released much official information, a number of people who've communicated with company sources have stated that line 2, at least, is producing cells that have demonstrated charge/discharge cycles in excess of requirements, even if at less than maximum design speed.

And that is the bottom line - can Valence produce good batteries in volume? Unless we believe these reports to be mere fabrication, and of course they have not been officially verified by the company at this point, then we're on our way! Some unforseen catastrophic event could take place, but we take that risk very day driving to work.

At this point I have more than doubled my original goal in terms of my position, and will be able to add several thousand more shares in about two weeks if the price stays within reason, so I'm thoroughly worried that I'll miss the boat when I read your latest report on the status of the lines. Tell 'em to keep tweaking a little longer!!

Best regards,

- T -

I passed over your earlier post # rather quickly before, but what you said has been in my mind for awhile. You state that the operational status of all lines has been upgraded and that Valence is "ready to go". These are very, very positive and far reaching statements. To be honest, FMK, I don't ever recall you being so positive. Yes, you've provided some rather rosey assumptions and comments before, but to my recollection, nothing so conclusive! Are we truly at the cusp of a breakthrough? You've never let us down before, I certainly hope your contacts are correct, as I'll plan to add to my position on weakness due to our friend in Iraq.

By the way, is Don Wollanchuck still bullish on Valence? I haven't heard his name in quite some time. Same goes for Cohen?

Look forward to hearing from you.
