To be accurate, I have Libertarian leanings. Certainly someone like Tim wouldn't recognize me as one for good reason. Libertarianism, for all of its attractions, is impractical on a large scale. It only results in a few people dominating the available resources.


My point was that those of us whom they call liberal are in fact fairly divergent in our views. What I think you, RW, Z, Al, Shepherd et al do agree upon is that we want decisions made based on fact and competency, and not ideology, and that those decisions should benefit the entire population and not just a select few.
