The guy's been president, what, seven months now? I think if the economy's in good shape in 2012 (three and a half YEARS from now), he's a shoo-in.

Actually, he's fine. 55% of the country approves of what he's doing. At one point Bush was down to the low 20s. In the meantime, the crazy Rs are calling for Obama's resignation. Its their noise that makes it look like things are much worse than they are.
