I'm sure it would get revisited. Especially on the internet. At least he wasn't in the car with her when she was killed. Maybe he has a good alibi too. Like his where-abouts can be verified at all times the previous night.

Then again, look what the press did to Gary Condit before the real killer was found.

Well, it's OBVIOUS that he was having sex with her, she became disaffected, threatened to go public, and Joe was forced to bash her head on a desk. It's as plain as Mary Jo Kopechne.

And had plane tickets forged so it looked like he was on a flight from DC to FLA when it happened.

The Rs must really dislike him to be dredging this stuff up so quickly.
