I do, it certainly has much better track record predicting
economic recoveries than anything else, including a bunch of
bears on these boards who pretend to know economics -g-

If their forecast is correct, then Septembe and October may well be positive months for these markets

I am not so sure that positive LEIs necessarily mean a good market in Sept. and Oct.

First, stock market levels are themselves a LEI. It doesn't seem intuitively correct to predict an indicator with its fellow indicators.

Second, LEIs, though positive since May have been trending up less aggressively since then. One interpretation is that green shoots are dying off, that any recovery that might be taking place is not that vigorous. Or that we may see a W shaped recession.
