"These people wanting the public option are an embarrassment." More so than the ones who oppose it? A dubious proposition at best. With all of the mis-information that is being tossed around, it should be no real surprise that people don't understand. Instead of a debate about pros and cons, we get a lot of made up stories about what is contained in the various proposals. Like the death panels, pulling the plug on grandma, etc. It is pretty clear that the Republicans don't want to discuss the proposals on their merits. They just want to make shit up. Strange, that.
