Both Bob and "Her Ladyship" appear to be in the same Bullish camp as the 51% of investment advisors in the Investors Intelligence Survey this past week which reported only 19.8% of advisors are bearish. That 51% represents 72% of Bulls plus Bears by my calculation. Bob has warned previously that it is a danger sign when the percentage exceed 70% which it does.

I remember Bob saying on his radio show that while he "expects a significantly positive year" 2009, he was not predicting it would be straight up without any drops during the remainder of the year. (That's a pretty safe bet, eh? How can that prediction be wrong?) Bob used to brag about how he liked his predictions to be amongst the minority of advisors - the more he appeared out on a limp, the better. It looks like at this point he is failing in that objective.

So maybe both Bob and Sy have a chance at having been correct in their predictions for 2009. Time frames are critical and time will tell.

Thanks for the info! It seems like Lady Elaine and Bob are often on the same page when it comes to market projections.

Best wishes,
