Dave, how is it that EVERY other country in the developed world can deliver universal health care to their citizens, but we can't?

First of all, we do. Anyone who needs health care in this country can get it.

Why do you insist on saying the above when the body of evidence disagrees strongly with the statement? What do you think you're accomplishing by making stuff up?

Secondly, there is a question of quality. While it is true that in some countries you can get government-sponsored health care, in NO country is it of the quality that is consistently delivered HERE.

If you are not getting health care, then the system stinks. For those people who can't afford health insurance, they go to an auditorium once every few years and get a quickie physical. That is hardly quality health care.

"First of all, we do. Anyone who needs health care in this country can get it. "

This is just a flat out LIE.

"Secondly, there is a question of quality. While it is true that in some countries you can get government-sponsored health care, in NO country is it of the quality that is consistently delivered HERE."

This is also a jingoistic LIE. Objective studies have shown that OUR health care ranks 37th.

"An indigent person can walk in a county hospital in the US and get better health care than he could get under the government run programs in other countries. It happens every day."

Only once they've reached the crisis stage. Before that, they'll be turned away.

You have NO answer ( other than lies). We CAN have universal health care - just like every other civilized country.
