<During the Stone Age I assume the quality of life was better even that the life span was shorter - you catch a deer you celebrated and feasted on the catch> What makes you think human nature has changed ? In the Stone Age you probably gave 1/2 the deer to the tribal leader and his family - or else. Same in the Middle Ages - hunting deer was often considered poaching as it belonged to the King's reserve which included everything. I don't think anything has changed except the penalties for transgression are milder. Pay your taxes. wg
