OT - Unfortunate in Israel they are !! - days before my mother murder doctor after doctor within the ward, tried to convince me that she arrived "at the end of the road" and I should permit them to disconnect her from life sustaining equipment (I was her trustee by court order)- "She has no life quality" they said – "you must overcome your emotional and selfish feelings and think reasonably" they said - “We treat those that we think they will recover with a good quality of life. We are budgetary restrained” they said They refused to give her blood to enforce her or healthier food to strengthen her I was fighting for every bit of help if medication or food intake – as an example if I wanted to add something to her diet they send me to the dietician – who in turn was telling me that he / she must study my request before approving it – as to medication – just forget it – they invented 100 excuses not to administer the medication she received before hospitalization. The family court refused to interfere claiming that it is not their responsibility regular courts asked for second opinion by an “approved Medical Doctor”which no one will give in contradiction with the system.
