All I find are tracking cookies in Spybot. Except that one Trojan I found an while back, the first spyware I have ever had on my computer.

Reading PC magazines 8/24/09 review on free virus protection programs, it seems important to have a program which screens out most of this stuff before it gets into your computer. This first paragraph from top rated Avira seems to make the point:

Avira AntiVir Personal's excellent malware detection, disinfection, and scan speed earned it the top spot in our ranking of free antivirus software.
In AV-Test.org tests, AntiVir's 98.9 percent overall malware detection rate was the best among the software on our chart.
