yes this is exactly - in Israel the healthcare is under government administration – they decide the "basket" of drugs one can receive and are quickly to degrade the basket to cheaper drugs even if they are not as effective. You pay a life long insurance policy but they cut it short if you have too many hospitalization days or in need of expensive healthcare – you will not believe how in Israel they manage to kill the elderly. Just by ignoring the elderly daily needs even with a caretaker present. I got my hands on a medical form where a Medical Doctor wrote “ she is XX years old” why Dr. “Joe DOE” is insisting to give her medical treatment?

Same happen with my deceased father few years ago - then I did not get it – they refused to give him proper treatment to stop the spread of cancer. I was told with my father at my side “he is already old – why continue to give him treatment” I changed the hospital but it was already to late

You aren't suggesting that people in the U.S. over the age of 65 could end up being insured "by the government" instead of by Medicare, are you?
