I believe in policies that work. I don't give a fig about ideology or make believe.

And debt. You keep forgetting that part. It should be no great surprise that if you engage in deficit spending, the economy gets stimulated. But what happens when the bill comes due? Deficit spending can work with few ill effects if it is short term. When it goes on over an extended time, it causes problems. As we now see, even getting outsiders to fund the deficit spending eventually runs out of steam.
