i had by the way, unfiltered sake tonight. quite interesting.

turned into a good meal according to my guessts.

shitty chop stick collection. too much fricken laquour for butter people.

since i made the wrapped rice rounds over sized, we just picked em up, dipped em, and went on to the main idea.

another mini bottle of the unfiltered and i'll be ready to fight another day, as mr. chen might say.

Cheap Sake is served hot to mask the bad flavors. Expensive Sake is like fine wine and it would be a big faux pas to serve it hot. I am not sure what the correct temperature is though...probably depends on the bottle.

As for myself, I have fairly unrefined tastes and I actually prefer cheap hot Sake on most occasions. And a $4 bottle of wine suits me just as well as a $20 bottle...go figure.
