All big spenders should be criticized. Bush and Obama spend money like drunken sailors.

Why? Because Bush bashing is an overused method of diverting attention from current crimes. It has become a stale cliché that, after seven month of thoughtless regurgitation by liberals, is unworthy of a serious response.

It is a waste of time, reeks of name calling, and has become ineffective -- but, if bashing Bush still excites you, charge on.

A new White House budget forecast puts the 10-year budget deficit at $9 trillion. That is nearly $2 trillion more than the forecast earlier this year. It is likely to be an underestimation.
