That's how I read it too.

It's hard for BO or anyone at the White House to explain WTF we are doing there, killing people who don't
even know we exist, they have no TV's. no computers, no newspapers ....

Granted, a few of them hosted Al Queda, but it's not as if this was a national referrendum.

We are self-defined enemies of the Taliban, they dislike us equally as much as every other foreign power
who has come over there with an agenda.

Obama is smart enough and well-read to know all this, the US must simply be afraid the Taliban is
too close to Pakistan's nukes for comfort.
