We ALWAYS have a LOT of banks fail in a serious recession.

What we DON'T have is ALL of them failing, including the BIGGEST.

If we hadn't done the bailouts we would have had several more institutions like Lehman's go down (maybe ALL of them) and you would have had to use 50 POSTS to list ALL the banks in the Country that had gone down.
