It's all just a diversion from the real problems.

And y'all quibbled with a few words in a single sentence. If the intent was to politicize it, there would have been a whole lot more.

To be honest, the length of the passage really isn't that important. Textbooks have been banned, for example, in some schools because of a single word or concept.

Your argument that any attempt to politicize it would have required more words is obviously nonsense. Indoctrination can happen gradually in some areas, and quickly in others. But the insidious nature of the attempt is troubling.

When combined with the other actions being taken, people are and should be concerned about it. Obama has taken over huge segments of our economy. He wants to take over the BIGGEST single segment and has not given up on that effort.

Obama is very busy manipulating the vote in an effort to maintain liberal power. This includes but is not limited to such major areas as manipulating the census (having the WH take it over), promoting unionization to insure future member support, supporting other manipulations through voter registration fraud (ACORN), grabbing power in ways too numerous to mention (even Robert Byrd has criticized Obama as "threatening the Constitutional system of checks and balances"), massive political payoffs in the form of the so-called "stimulus" bill (so-called because everyone who knows anything about economics knows this kind of spending DOES NOT WORK), and various efforts to stifle free speech and dissent including freezing out the most important single cable news channel.

In addition, he has tried to shut down dissent on his proposed legislation (successfully, I might add) by rushing it through Congress without the customary period of review. He has threatened to get Senate leadership to use an administrative procedure to pass sweeping reform to 1/6 of our economy without a single Republican vote.

I mean, concerns over the righteousness of Obama's intentions aren't exactly misplaced. Americans have every reason to question and doubt his commitment to freedoms that we've long held near and dear.
