I think so, without a public outcry there'd have been a straight-forward "I Pledge" type indoctrination session in every school nationwide. I think thats what they really wanted. Why else delay release of the speech? Why not put it on CSPAN long ago and let them air it at various times and let schools arrange public viewings at times available for their schedules?

Because when you give up on yourself, you give up on your country. He conflates self interest with State interest. This neatly displays Obama's world view. You are important because you are an asset to the State. Work hard, your State needs you (until it doesn't).

This guy is going to split the country like no other politician ever has. It's a front organization and shadow within the US govt. Had friends telling me this was going to happen and didn't believe them. Wonder when congress figures out they're being sidelined. Think that would upset even the Dems, esp. since they're as power hungry as any pol. The attacks are just gonna pick up steam. Don't know the figures, but would think the posts are up on this board.
