Brava!

And there is a special place in hell for Glenn Beck and all spittle covered ranters who have aggravated the situation beyond rational recourse. It isn't that I object at all to facts; we need people who dig and report. What we don't need is the emotional, hate-driven, "we are the real patriots protecting our country from you evil socialists" crap that seems to spew 24/7 these days.

the declaration by Pelosi that they absolutely will not sign anything without a public option infuriates me.

Without the public option, what we get is worse than doing nothing.

Here is what it looks like.

Every one must buy coverage.

Insurance companies must insure every one

No limit on the premium.

It's a great big gift to the health insurance companies and big stinking pile for the rest of us.

Sanity is lovely. Don't look for it's return any time soon judging by the paths I've seen many folks taking lately.

And while I want compromise on the health issue- I would prefer the whole thing not be a sell out to corporate America. I'd rather see nothing than see that- because once Corporate America gets its trotters in a trough it's almost impossible to get them out again.

Rambi, this one from David Gergen. And continuing on the CNN issue, even their Republican leaning commentators like Ed Rollins, Bennett etc. are very articulate in presenting their point of view. It is not only a pleasure to listen to these folks, but they present it in a way that I have agreed with them.

Even so, Wednesday night’s health care speech may be one of the toughest he has faced, as he has to overcome at least three major challenges all at once.

We should all be giving special thanks to Glen Beck for doing his job as a reporter, digging out the facts on a radical appointee and publicly informing us about it. That's the job of the free press, To be government "watch dogs". Not government lap dogs like CNN, MSNBC, NYT, ABC, etc....

The first time the NYT reporting we had a paraniod communist wackjob working as a Czar was when he quit in disgrace. The NYT should be ashamed for not doing their job and "reporting".

If any Republican administration had placed a communist in the position of Czar, the media would have given 24X7 non stop coverage, digging out every link, every decision he made, and every who, did what, when, fact checking.

I still want to know what damage he may have done for 6 months in that position. I want to know how much he spent in that position, where the money went and for what purpose.

Good grief! The President appointed a communist and all the media want to say is "those right wingers are upset again and started a meaningless uproar".

Where our country is headed with these ideologues running things is anybodies guess...
