Under Harding & Coolidge after Wilson had massively increased taxes, a surge in economic activity directly resulted from tax cuts.

Which caused the roaring 20's. Hover tried to decrease tax's, but a Democratic congress caused his weak ass to back off. FDR increased tax's which caused us to lengthen a depression for about 10 years more.
