Wayne,

<<Is it possible that the "presentations" that ANCOR gave to investment firms painted the picture that we know NOW... which has led to the 12->8->??? decline. And... that though most thought these presentations would have "immediate share price impact" it will be "Second Quarter '98 or beyond impact?">>

I suppose anything is possible, but I doubt that they painted a gloomy picture of the future, based on Frank McEvoy's (Kinnard) research report. I think it is safe to say, based on the conference call, that whatever OEM deals for the new switch are signed in the next couple of quarters won't have a material (revenue) impact until Q3 or Q4 of 1998. I don't know how those deals might affect the stock price, if or when they are announced. Last time around, the Sequent announcement caused a major price increase, but that was a different market.

<<The future keeps looking brighter and brighter as the stock price goes lower and lower (amazing phenomenon).>>

Yes, this has certainly been a frustrating experience. The future for Fibre Channel looks brighter than ever, but the stock price of ANCR doesn't reflect that at all. I guess the nay-sayers win this round. (And the last few. <g>)
