Happy;

Govt. seems to do that somewhat well. It's quite different to run complex industries efficiently and effectively. Govt has demonstrated it does not do that well.

You mean like the military? Hard to imagine a more complex ....uh industry. Or the Post Office? For 45 cents the post office will come to my house, pick up a letter to you and deliver it to your house. And by the number of bills to me they have lost in the last 40 years or so, I promise they are efficient. Or the road system that reaches from my door to yours without interruption. Or the electric power that for me is embarrassingly cheap and is all government?

OTOH, my largest state bank Washington Mutual - not so good. My telephone service - Qwest - is awful beyond your wildest imagination. Our auto maker, not so good as it had to be sold to the socialist Sweden. The other car to the Italians. And the neighbors car maker sold to the Chinese.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not in favor of doing away with capitalism at all - only corporatalism!
