Research by Wheeler and findings by Einstein and Godel would suggest that the future can neither be known nor predicted. However, it is a rather simple matter after the fact to invent linkages connecting elements that we wish to associate. If you give me a word and a fictional Pope I can put them together in some seemingly plausible fashion provided you supply with with some fictional background information (how many dogs howled at his birth, was Orion visible in the South sky, was he fond of lilies, did he ever meet somebody named Fred)--that sort of thing.

Some day Rome will be destroyed (even if it lasts till the end of the Sun) and 5000 Prophets will be proven correct! :-)

More likely the last of the flock will finally finally figure out all that he has no cloths and all that pomp surrounding him is silly and they'll simply eliminate the position.
