"It is a simple, indisputable fact: When you cut taxes substantially, you're going to get a surge in economic activity."

Clinton RAISED taxes, yet we had a surge of economic activity! Our BEST economic decade of the century. HOW was this even possible, Dave?

Could it be that business was mightily stimulated by a sane fiscal policy by the government?

"What do you think CAUSES a country to become a "manufacturing power house"? Or an "IT Powerhouse"? Or any other kind of "powerhouse"?"

It certainly wasn't solely a function of tax rate. Like you are pretending. The US became a manufacturing powerhouse because it was the low cost producer. Just like it did with agricultural products during the 1800s. And Timber products before that. And that was independent of the tax rate of the time.

"It is a simple, indisputable fact: When you cut taxes substantially, you're going to get a surge in economic activity."

Only if there isn't a corresponding budget cut. Like Hoover did. It all goes to deficit spending.

"And it works the other way around, too. When you increase taxes, the economy takes a hit."

Nonsense. There have been plenty of cases when taxes were raised and the economy didn't take a hit. WWII is a prime example. But far from the only one.

"LIKE OBAMA, he mistakenly believed that deficit spending was stimulative and he spent like a drunken sailor. Meanwhile, the unemployment rate DOUBLED."

Nonsense. You are making shit up.

Again.

It is amusing to watch you dig your hole deeper and deeper...
