<I wouldn't be so angry if I didn't remember a time, not that long ago, that sound, rational investing was possible. The early 1990s are only 15 years in the rear-view. Everything went to hell starting in 1995, when the bubble started ramping. I owe the bubble my wealth, but I'd also like to get on with things and let it resolve. Let the rich boys who made bad investments lose, and let those of us who knew what was going on get back to the business of making rational investments.>

Understand the anger, but I fear the investing environment you describe is dead and buried forever. Especially now that the thieves have become so good at marking the markIt to predetermined price points with the hft and algo machines.

Differences of opinion, differences of risk tolerance, differences of time frames are what makes a market investable. None of that exists anymore. Its all group think executed thru collocated computer models.
