Yes, also watching CNP for a dip to add to position. Doesn't look like it's going to drop enough for me.

It's reported that some of the proceeds from the issuance of the new shares will go to a subsidiary to construct gas gathering/treatment facilities for the Haynesville (shale) build out by Shell/Encana. I view this as a positive for CNP, akin to the old analogy of providing shovels to gold miners.

Meanwhile I continue to convert my CNP dividends (dripped) into more CNP shares.

Hi Spekulatius - I have been trying to sell the covered calls on CNP (Feb $12.50) but not a very good premium (8% below fair value). I think I will wait for the March or April 2010 months.

BKH is also one where the option premium is lousy, thinly traded and you always have to take the bid (which is 10%-15% below fair value).

I have been looking at selling some covered calls to protect recent gains and even have a small position in some out of the money September Puts.

The market continues to trend higher so by holding my recent purchases (rather than selling) the gains continue to accumulate. I am just not buying any new shares until another shake out occurs.
