I agree, but you have to admit this is weird. BTW on their normal transactions, the discount rate they use (required by their auditors) changes once a quarter but is based on their brorowing cost and is roughly 9%. This is relatively conservative.

I've been professionally involved in this industry for 8 years now and i've never seen anything like this. If what they're saying is true, the accouynts reversed themselves. Someone is a real problem here (co management or auditors.) axys7

This is strictly an accounting issue but the problem is that PEGA has 'been less active' in closing business in Q3 given its expectation of recognizing First Data revenues.

Another Ernst & Young change of opinion lagging discussion on SI.
