mph, it's tough to figure the objectivity of that article. If the unions aren't taking a MAJOR hit on pay and benefits then the whole thing will probably be for naught because they WON'T be able to compete with the other car companies. I "assumed" that the new pay scales would be more in line with what Toyota and others would be paying in their plants in the U.S. Once we get out of this recessionary mess I certainly hope the U.S. will "get out" of the car business as soon as possible.
