Hi jane,
Here we go again with another revolutionary discovery. I think we are all expecting a better safer food processing system. I thought they were feeding cattle etc with antibiotics to which they were building resistance. This will have to go through FDA and a lot of studies/investigation has to be done which will take a lot of time. Till then OZONE will reign as a good alternative. Besides i think it will be cumbersome to vaccinate strawberry's infected with E.Coli. Besides there could be other strains of bacteria which we are not aware of which ozonew can take care of.

Just a thought.

Later
Sri.

SRI is right. Any form of vaccination against E. Coli or any other infectious bacteria is years away. It is also certain to be met with a great deal of resistance from certain factions of the public like the antibiotechnolgy groups. Biotechnology was one of the first areas I ever got interested in as an investment. Take a look at ANTX. They are working on a vaccine for Campylobacteria. It is years away from approval. The trouble with antibiotics is that they are losing there efficacy. That is strains of bacteria are proliferating that are resistant. How about genectic engineering? At least as far away for both plants and animals. How practical and cost effective would these methods be anyway? Can you imagine growing a bunch of cloned animals in a sterile enviroment because our antibiotics no longer work anymore? CycloPPS has systems ready for use now! Cost effective? You bet. Today, okay well soon. Regards, Jeff

I don't think use of more antibiotics in food supplies will be tolerated by the Center for Disease Control. The problem is overuse of antibiotics which leads to more virulent strains of bacteria. It's becoming a major problem and it's becoming difficult in some cases to prescribe an effective antibiotic.
