Oh bummer! What about all the peace treaty violations by that other Hussein constantly trying to shoot down our planes with rockets. Can you really enter into another conflict without finally putting and actually end to your first unresolved conflict?

The Neo Cons real "justification" for getting us into Iraq was that it would allow us to a get a "client state" right in the center of the Middle East.

At the time Karzai seemed to be workin' out alright in Afghanistan so they figured Chalabi would work out alright in Iraq.

If you think there was any OTHER justification for it then I've got a real nice bridge in Brooklyn that you might be interested in.
