If you don't think the politics of "he's different than us" works, you should study some political history. Like I haven't seen Senor Villaraigosa at "work" here in southern California. Or Maxine Waters, who defended her constituents looting Korean stores. Or a prominent local black high school athlete murdered by a Hispanic gang member. Tell me again what Obama himself can't do because of his race? Avoid the "slander"? Please, no one in his position avoids "slander." Why do you feel the need to defend the boorish actions of your colleagues? Does that mean you are no better?
