EKS, I have a few ERF tucked away from '06-'08. Very bad: I may never break even on the position. And have them in an ira to boot, where I'm not getting the 15% write-off on my taxes.

I envision a glut of shale gas, and so I do not see how any nat gas co. can make much money, esp. when favorable hedges are unwound.

There's a limit as to how far down gas prices can go from here. The stocks of the companies themselves could go lower though -- so many stocks are up so strongly from lows earlier this year.

Kind of an inflection point for me: Either I should sell out the position or add more. I am adding. I'm looking at ERF as offering me some possibilities: I can close out my earlier holdings and have shares essentially shifted into a taxable account. I'll get the good distribution yield. (If it holds up) With ERF I get oil from the Bakken and oil from their oil sands.
