I didn't say Ron Paul is dishonest, he may be, most politicians are, but as far as I can tell he's more honest than most.

As for Bush, you haven't even shown dishonest (although to an extent I don't doubt it, it comes with the territory in politics), and dishonest and liar are not the same thing.

If the husband in your example had said "did you cheat on me with John", and she said no because she had only cheated with Bryan, then I'd say she's being dishonest, but she isn't lying.
