I haven't added up the shares in all the various stocks he traded in 2000 and 2001, but if you did and got 1500 in 2000, you've answered your own question.

Remember he claimed he'd never owned a share of any stock. And HAL is one example of a demonized company he traded. Most of his holdings were in energy, health care, and defense - all industries he attacks. That he's a dabbler and ineffective investor, don't make him any less a liar about that never owned a share of stock claim.
