something you might want to consider for some of your cash is pme.to its a closed end fund in canada that was set up to invest in uranium, moly , and something else but most of its holdings are gold stocks. its a pretty concentrated portfolio and a small fund but it trades at a 10%+ discount at the moment. they recently announced some dividend. you can find out more information at sentryselect.com. Im almost breaking even on it now. Or you can try slw, if you think Mexico will stay in one piece over the next 5 years. My biggest holding is still DGC.to.
But its speculative as they dont even have a feasibility study out yet.

I am still hopeful that eventually we will see NG stations in every city. it makes a lot of sense to reduce our dependence on oil whererever we can, and the sooner we start the better. somehow buying $40,0000 electric cars just aint gonna do it.
