Not sure who you are referring to, but the Rs in Congress have tried to get a foot in the door on this legislation and have gotten nothing.

You are full of shit...the three Rs on the panel working up the senate bill have been so duplicitous it's disgusting. Jim Demint's remarks, Grassley's cowardly remarks...the lineup of pathetic cowards is long...it's shameful that you would actually say that they've been trying to contribute.

This is a lie. Obama specifically mentioned MALPRACTICE reform, which is essentially tort reform limited to medical practice.
