Thanks to Slider and others who sent me info on the Swine Flu vaccine. As it turns out, my wife's GP was wanting her to have it but her liver specialist said NO. He said the vaccine is known to cause paralysis and various other issues (noted on this thread)and he considered it particularly risky for anyone with a suppressed immune system. He said our Province (Manitoba) wants to do a test of the vaccine on 50 'clean' patients to see some longer term effects before they mass approve it. Good to see from our local government.
