Good points Darin, by the way, check this out: home.sprynet.com I found it prettty amusing the way you can get completely different spins on the same fundamental story depending on what tinme of day you listen to the talking heads on Wall Street. I'm not talking about market fluctuation either, these folks can make the fundamentals look different based on a day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute basis. Darin GOOD ANALYSIS - I was suprised with some of the comparisions for this year being higher considering the sharp price cut INTEL has introduced to the market as of late . The key is the product mix in sales for the fourth qtr - are there any forecasts in this area ? BEST WISHES BILL

Darin, The flaw I see in your reasoning is that the mix of budget to high-end machines sold has changed. Intel is selling more machines at $208 and less at $586 than last year. If the mix were the same your point would be valid. Richard
