I never knew this until now but Obama got only 43% of the white vote last November. The fact that he won the overall election so handily suggests that the turnout by people of color was high for Obama, and that in previous elections, they did not vote at all in the presidential election......which explains why turnout has generally been low in presidential elections. It also explains why so many whites are going ballistic. It has to be their racial biases are fueling the rage.
