David, I think IDX IS a startup company. Isn't that how bg is trying to justify the (now) 150 P/E ratio? I might overlook it if the company held an exclusive patent to the technology. I always saw that as a big sledge hammer over the market. Thought NRID's marketing efforts would get thier foot in the door enough before the big companies. patents.uspto.gov Change the date to all, search fingerprint for term 1. You'll recognise some of the companies working on this technology. Think the big guys are happy to let companies like NRID and IDX develop the market, when it looks profitable they'll be there to get thier piece of the pie. Bob
