<real nasty ones are like cpq >

Steve,

Thanks...believe it or not...that information is reassuring. The numbers really put it in perspective. I've had several stocks crash...
but not make the recovery. This tells me companies like Dell, CPQ, etc do tank...but also come back..often with a vengence.

If you own cpq, sit still and enjoy the ride. You are going to make
a fortune(but buy some hwp for luck!). However, DELL is not going up too far too soon. Even if it does not crash, there is no reason for it to
go up(unless the earning REALLY blow people away).
I have no idea why people compare DELL and CPQ so easily. CPQ made
history, is the father of "low cost pc", the company that beat the
big blue. DELL is just riding on the demise of AST's and soon not
much would be left.
Having said all this, I really hope DELL goes up soon so I can
short again.
