Don't forget the government rebates and tax credits to those who purchase the hotdogs. As well as the free hotdog coupons distributed with the Food stamp/supplement cards.

They'd turn it in to a nightmarish bureaucracy; be subject to far too much waste and high fixed costs and then be forced to charge $50 per hot dog.

Oh bummer! I go back a few years, so I remember when New York city told the voters if they voted for off track betting the city would be able to eliminate their real estate taxes. There were so many no show jobs created that off track betting is still losing money. Even the Gambino family offered to buy it from them. Only to have them refuse. Now if a government can't earn money running horse betting parlors why should we believe they could earn money running financial companies, auto companies or even a health care system. Don't believe a word they utter. You had better think twice about this coming fiasco because it will seriously affect everyone.
