Professor Hubert Filbert McPhaney of the Institute for the Advancement of Geological Science of La Paz, Bolivia says that the nose of the fold closed at the most northern drill hole of ARU, and the chances of finding a viable deposit on the EC ground is less than one in 25.

There is also a 1 million oz deposit of lesser grade about 1 km south of ARU. It was of no interest when ARU started drilling.
