Census Bureau Severs Ties With ACORN

Hooray for Okeefe and Beck and all the talk radio hosts and blogs who publicized ACORN's criminality. Isn't it great that our side can get the truth out there. We have to guard our freedom of speech and press. Van Jones was run out of town this week, now Acorn is too radioactive for the Obama adm to use. I hope Sunstein goes next - he's supposed to use regulations to impose what they can't get passed legislatively.

Earlier today, I posted a First Things article expressing doubt the ACORN story would matter. Thank God it was wrong.

The Census Director has sent a letter to the National Headquarters of ACORN notifying the group that it will no longer have a role in conducting the 2010 census. ACORN had previously been tapped to help with low level data gathering.
