No, it isn't just the 2003 projections. It is the REVISED projections EVERY YEAR thus far. The simple fact is that Part D has come in massively under budget every year when it had been predicted to come in OVER budget every year.

The point is that while nutjob liberals like yourself keep complaining about the inability for Medicare to "negotiate" drug prices, the Bush plan has yielded results far superior to anything that might have other wise been achieved.

How? By letting private enterprise and capitalism RUN Part D.

I also call you attention to the Medicare Advantage Rx plans....
