<<<We can pretty easily fix the immediate problems. We can set up some insurance option for the uninsurable and make insurance portable and permanent so those with insurance don't have to fear losing it. And we can subsidize those who really can't afford insurance by expanding Medicaid. It doesn't have to be complicated or disruptive. We don't have to create a bigger monstrosity.>>>

You have some good ideas. I am sure if you were given the chance, Obama could probably work with you to get something done.

The problem is that the current system can not be sustained. You can't just increase spending as what you suggest but there has to be cost cutting. There has to be some winners and losers.

The problem with health care is much more complex than you think. Right now Obama has the best people working on the problem. Given that no one is willing to work with him, he has no alternatve but to come up with a solution by himself with the people that he has appointed.

If you want to see a real horror show, imagine if someone else were in his shoes right now - like some rogue ex VP candidate.
