Obama talking about being civil-----this is the man who referred to Americans in the heart land of Kentucky, W.Va. and Tennessee and Arkansas and Southern Virginia as ignorant. And, he hasn't stopped calling people ignorant, he has escalated the rhetoric. Once again with the Medicare he is consolidating power in the power of the Federal Government-----"Big Government". The very type of government we came to America to avoid. He is doing the reverse of what should be done--------what should be done is to get the Federal Government out of the insurance business and the control of the individual citizen's medical decisions. The Federal Governemtn needs to close down their system and eliminate the government oversight of our lives. Obama did this wrong-----not very smart of him ----he should have come to the people for their opinions before attempting to pass this so called reform bill. "Now he wants the people to verify what he, Obama, wants". I find this rather arrogant. mj
